Hosting a Littles In Waiting activity is a meaningful and fun way for volunteer groups to get involved!
Our Littles In Waiting mentoring program provides quarterly, staff-supervised activities at the BBBS Mentoring Center for children who are waiting to be matched with a Big Brother or Big Sister.
Volunteers can lead activities that are informational and skill-based (like life skills, job readiness, or sharing about your career) or simply fun and engaging (such as cooking, crafting, or sharing your favorite hobby).
This program helps build resilience, encourages goal-setting, teaches life skills, and surrounds youth who are waiting to be matched with a caring, supportive community.
