World Relief Triad

World Relief strives to provide opportunities for churches, groups, families, and individuals to come alongside immigrants, refugees and survivors of human trafficking who are in great need of love and acceptance. In order to fulfill our mission statement, to empower the local Church to serve the most vulnerable, World Relief seeks to develop opportunities for people with a heart for serving vulnerable populations. World Relief works to stand for the vulnerable while educating the community on the mission opportunities in their neighborhood. We strive to be a sustainable, holistic ministry of compassion and practical support. We look to the example of Jesus as we serve those who are suffering from injustice and poverty, regardless of color, gender, or belief. We value empowerment, cultural diversity, integrity, and mutually transformative relationship.

Our Programs:

• Refugee Services: WR staff come alongside newly resettled refugees to help them feel welcomed, valued, and empowered. We provide cultural orientations, training on how to ride a bus and shop for groceries, health and wellness exams, school enrollment, and much more. 

• Anti-Human Trafficking Services: WR staff work alongside survivors and partner agencies to prevent and fight trafficking in our local communities. Services include case-management for survivors, outreach to vulnerable populations, management of rapid responses and multi-disciplinary task-forces, and community education to help prevent, identify, and respond to trafficking.

• Opportunity Services: WR helps clients with compelling life experience and diverse skills find meaningful employment and educational opportunities as they rebuild their lives.

• Health & Wellness Services: WR responds to the unique health and wellness related needs of our clients. Services include intensive medical case management, on-site therapy, a community garden program, and more. Through H&W, we advocate for ands support the holistic wellbeing of our newest neighbors.  

• Immigration Legal Services: WR partners with local churches as well as the wider community to provide affordable, high-quality legal services to immigrants throughout the North Carolina area. World Relief Triad is recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice and its caseworkers can represent clients before the U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

• Mission Services: WR equips and empowers local churches and the wider community to welcome and serve their newest refugee, immigrant, and trafficking survivor neighbors. Through volunteer and giving opportunities, we fulfil our mission of "Empowering the local Church to serve the vulnerable."
