Gateway Nature Preserve

Gateway Nature Preserve is a 19-acre urban nature habitat located next to Washington Park. Our site and our programming emphasize the many ways natural habitats support our community, through supporting ecosystem resilience, and by providing a place for exercise, learning, and solace.

Gateway Nature Preserve connects people with nature through trails, a pollinator garden, educational programming, and service projects. We welcome volunteers to help with site development projects, events, and marketing. We look forward to hearing from you!
