Volunteer: Staff a Water Station

Staff a water station at the Winston-Salem Forsyth County CROP Hunger Walk. You'll help ensure walkers stay well hydrated on the walk. You'll pre-fill water cups and hand them out as walkers go by. Walkers have the option to fill up their own water bottles at the water stations too. 

Organizers will verify any community service hours if needed.

Volunteer: Be a Route Guide

Be a Route Guide for the Winston-Salem Forsyth County CROP Hunger Walk. As a Route Guide, you'll help direct walker traffic around the walk route, keep an eye out for safety, call organizers for first aid if needed, etc. Police will be positioned at every traffic light. You'll be given a walk map, a bright orange vest, and signage to hold.

1. Loading and unloading of contributed items or sold items
2. Sorting incoming donations
3. Hanging clothing and moving items to the sales floor
4. Working on the sales floor; Assisting with rotation and cleaning

Lawyer-Recommended or Court Ordered Community Service volunteers are required to work a minimum of 4 hours each day for credit to be received.
