Volunteer: CROP Walk Steering Committee

*The Greater Greensboro CROP Hunger Walk Steering Committee is recruiting for new committee members! 

Volunteers for the Greater Greensboro CROP Hunger Walk Steering Committee need to be at least 21 years old and willing to serve for the walk planning year, January- November. Areas of interest for the steering committee include recruiting, publicity, recruitment, and office assistance/printing & packing materials. 

Committee members attend monthly meetings which are held the second Tuesday of each month (Either by Zoom or at Greensboro Urban Ministry's boardroom, 305 W. Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27406) at 5:30pm, help in planning for the yearly event, assist with kick off events for team captains, walk day set up/event and more.

Volunteer: Food Pantry Volunteer

Volunteers help to organize and sort nonperishable food items collected from the community as well as assist consumers in securing needed food items.  Volunteers should have good customer service orientation, be able to stand, bend, stoop and lift bags/or boxes that may weigh 35-45 pounds.  Be able to work with diverse populations.
