Who We Are
Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Piedmont Triad Inc., is an independent, community supported 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides a “home-away-from-home” for families of children who are receiving treatment in our community’s medical facilities.
What We Do
The House and Family Room programs offer physical comforts, emotional support, education, programming, and referral services designed to promote the well-being of the whole family.
Patients receive no medical attention or treatments at the House. Ronald McDonald House is nondiscriminatory and non-sectarian.
As one of six Ronald McDonald Houses in North Carolina and one of more than 350 worldwide, we are happy to open our doors to families of pediatric patients and invite them to stay with us. Our House offers 35 bedrooms with private baths for families, four living rooms, playrooms, a playground, support services, and a communal kitchen with pantry items, fresh foods, and meals provided through community support.
